Short answer: Exciting opportunity and socially impactful works
Long story: I was born in xx and was extremely lucky enough to have the opportunity to come to work in Japan. Not only because I could experience different cultures, but I also have more opportunities to work on bigger and more impactful projects. Since Japan is a bigger market, I do get higher pay compared to what I could in my own country to support my family. It changes our life.
I know a few extremely talented friends, who cannot leave xx because of various reasons and they can only work on limited projects. The physical location shouldn’t limit an individual's potential to make an impact on the world, especially in this information age. And to build that, we need more async work-friendly tools, built by an async team, for async team. I feel excited just thinking how Tara could eventually fill the gap and unlock many more opportunities around the world and hence changing their life.
